NEW ERYPLAST - pallets with a heart!
Not satisfied with associating the economic performance of its products with their environmentally-friendly nature (at the present time, over 30 tonnes of plastic waste are converted into pallets every day), NEW ERYPLAST has also had the opportunity to give its business plan a social and humanitarian dimension. In actual fact, a significant part of its supplies comes from networks of humanitarian associations across France and Belgium which collect plastic tops from water, soft drinks and milk bottles.
The most well-known of these charities is undoubtedly “Les bouchons d’amour”, set up by its patron, the French comic Jean-Marie Bigard, which devotes all the proceeds from the sale of bottle tops to buying equipment for the disabled. Several other associations have gone with the flow and signed agreements with ERYPLAST who makes a point of honour of guaranteeing that their entire collection will be purchased at the best market price, all in the framework of a long-term contract. In 2005, several hundred thousand euros ended up in the coffers of humanitarian associations as a result of this action.
